This short 2 hour course is for anyone who looks after babies and children

Syllabus

If you want to gain the confidence, knowledge and skills to deal with an emergency with your child this is the course for you! This is an informal workshop in which you can participate or just watch the demonstrations and have a cuppa. All non-crawling babies welcome.​​

Course Content

  • ​Baby, Child CPR and Defibrillator

  • Baby and child choking

  • Foods and Objects (potential choking hazards)

  • Temperature and Febrile Seizures

  • Meningitis

  • Burns

  • Cuts and Bumps

  • Poisoning

  • First aid kit

  • Sepsis awareness

  • Anaphylaxis awareness
